"camera roll"
"camera roll" is an ongoing series exploring the continuous flow of images which characterizes contemporary digital life. Selected snapshots - frequently depicting scenes from nightlife and youth culture - are translated into time-intensive oil paintings, shifting fleeting digital images into a slow, physical process. The paintings are titled according to their numerical position in my camera roll.
